Skinnefjällsskolan is located in Mölnlycke and is a primary school for grades F-3 with 222 students. The school has good bus connections to Borås and Gothenburg.

Our Organization

Our organization is the foundation of the school. We work with three staff members around each class: a primary school teacher, a preschool teacher, and a leisure teacher. The work team operates with shared responsibility and is accountable for the students throughout the day, creating a great sense of security for our students and guardians. Here, you will meet engaged students and employees with high satisfaction. Together, we achieve more!

Your Mission

We are looking for someone who wants to work proactively and preventively for safety, study peace, and student influence. This occurs in individual conversations with students but also through presence in the daily work of the classes. For example, by driving various initiatives such as Stop My Body or Fight Smarter. We seek someone who is engaged, open to different solutions, and can make independent decisions when necessary. Collaboration with the student health professionals is a very important part of your work. The student health team is led by the principal and coordinated by the management support, who is also the school's special educator. The team also includes a school psychologist, school nurse, and special teacher. You will also collaborate with guardians and other partners such as BUP, social services, Family House, and UPH. Social investigations are part of your work at the school. Guidance and training initiatives for the school's staff will also be part of your work.

Requirements for the Position

Applicants should have: a degree in social work or equivalent education deemed relevant by the employer, experience working as a school counselor with the age group F-3, experience working with EHM, experience collaborating in investigations of special support according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's model, good knowledge of Prorenata, good ability to collaborate and build relationships, experience and knowledge in the NPF area, good digital competence.

To obtain employment, a certificate from the Police's criminal record must be presented.
